The short version

Use Belle in good faith. We’ll provide a reliable service and treat your data with care. Belle is an AI assistant, not a therapist, lawyer, or doctor. Use your own judgment for important decisions.

What Belle is

Belle is an AI-powered household management assistant. It helps you track tasks, identify patterns, manage mental load, and coordinate with your partner. It provides suggestions and insights based on information you share.

What Belle is not

Belle is not a substitute for professional advice. It does not provide medical, legal, financial, or therapeutic guidance. If you’re experiencing a crisis, please contact appropriate professional services.

Belle’s AI generates responses based on patterns and context. It can be wrong. It can miss things. It can occasionally produce responses that don’t align with your situation. Always use your own judgment.

Your account

You’re responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. You’re responsible for activity under your account. One person per account. If you invite a partner to your household, they create their own account.

Acceptable use

Don’t use Belle to:

• Violate any law or regulation
• Harass, abuse, or harm another person
• Attempt to extract, manipulate, or jailbreak the AI system
• Reverse-engineer, scrape, or copy Belle’s features or content
• Create multiple accounts to circumvent limits
• Share your account with others

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

Subscription and billing

Belle offers both free and paid tiers. Paid subscriptions are billed through Stripe. You can cancel at any time from your Settings page. When you cancel, you keep access through the end of your billing period.

We may change pricing with 30 days’ notice. Price changes don’t affect your current billing period.

Your content

You own your data. The things you tell Belle, the tasks you create, the patterns detected from your information — that’s yours. We don’t claim ownership of your content.

You grant us a license to use your content to provide and improve the service. This means processing your messages through AI, storing your data, and generating insights from it. We do not use your content for advertising or sell it to third parties.

Our content

Belle’s brand, design, code, and AI-generated content (as a product) are ours. You may not copy, redistribute, or create derivative works from Belle’s product without permission.

Availability

We aim for high availability but don’t guarantee 100% uptime. We may need downtime for maintenance. We’ll try to give notice for planned maintenance.

Limitation of liability

Belle is provided “as is.” We do our best to make it reliable and useful, but we can’t guarantee it will be error-free or meet every need. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of Belle.

Our total liability is limited to the amount you’ve paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. For significant changes, we’ll notify you by email at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

Termination

You can delete your account at any time. We can terminate or suspend your account if you violate these terms. Upon termination, we’ll delete your data per our privacy policy, unless we’re required by law to retain it.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration, except where prohibited by law.
